Over the years, guests have fled the premises, refusing to stay in certain rooms, while staff members recount spine-tingling experiences - one even claims to have seen the figure of a lady standing over her. Countless eyewitness accounts describe shadows, unexplained smells, and poltergeist activity within the hotel's historic walls. During our visit to this fascinating location, the team encountered a series of remarkable phenomena. From mysterious knocking sounds to intelligent responses via the spirit box, the activity was undeniable. Initially skeptical, the students approached the investigation with doubt, many dismissing the possibility of a spiritual presence. However, their perspective shifted dramatically during the night. To everyone’s astonishment, one of the students became the sole individual to elicit a response from the supposed young boy, captured clearly through the spirit box. This unexpected interaction sparked newfound curiosity in both Spectrum and the students, driving further interest in exploring Harpenden for other unexplained phenomena. The highlight of the night was an extraordinary event - a gate opening and closing on command. Legend has it that the highwayman Dick Turpin used the inn as a hideout, and his ghost is rumoured to linger nearby. With its creaking floors, low-beamed ceilings, and open fires, the Spaniards Inn offers a mysterious retreat.

The Spaniards Inn, Hampstead. Among the most intriguing evidence captured here are two nearly identical incidents - occurring almost exactly one year apart - that remain unsolved to this day. The first event took place during a Q&A session in the main bar, where a locked-off camera recorded an interaction that left the team astonished. Nearly a year later, in the same area and at the close of another eventful investigation, the team decided to ask any present entities to make themselves known using a walkie-talkie. To everyone’s astonishment, the request was met with a direct and unmistakable response - an EVP that seemed to answer the call quite literally. During our investigation of South Kentish Town Station, the team and guests gathered in one of the old lift shafts for a Q&A session, a space steeped in silence and isolation. To maintain the integrity of the experiment, all participants held hands, ensuring that no one could tamper with the results and that any phenomena would originate from an unknown source. What followed was both astonishing and inexplicable. On request, and in direct response to a question, the unmistakable sound of knocking on wood echoed through the space. This was particularly astounding given the lack of wooden materials in the area - the lift shaft is constructed entirely of thick concrete. This simple moment remains one of the most remarkable experiences recorded at the station, offering compelling evidence of a possible paranormal presence. Harperbury Hospital , Hertford. Once a mental asylum in operation until 2001, is a location steeped in history and shadowed by the echoes of its past. During an investigation at this chilling site, the team may have captured the voice of a former patient - a moment that left them stunned upon review. Present on this night were Dean, Emily, and Roy. All three investigators confirm that, to the best of their knowledge, no audible voices were heard during the session. However, when reviewing the footage later, a mysterious voice was clearly heard. Intriguingly, it was not Emily’s voice, adding to the unexplained nature of the recording.
